What it actually is
Covering a smell is not removing one.
Every air freshener works the same way: it adds a second smell that is stronger than the first. Nothing has been removed, and the first hot afternoon with the doors shut brings all of it straight back.

The treatment does the chemistry, but it cannot reach what it cannot get to. Mats come out, seats and carpets get cleaned, and anything still physically in the car — a spill under a seat, damp carpet, something in the trunk — has to be dealt with rather than treated over.

The odor-causing compounds are destroyed rather than covered. There is no fragrance left behind, because the point is that it smells like nothing.

01 / Find the source
Before anything else
Under the seats, in the trunk, under the mats and in the carpet padding. A smell almost always has a physical cause, and it is usually somewhere nobody has looked.
02 / Clean it out
The cabin comes first
Air purge, full vacuum, mats out, and steam cleaning through the interior. Anything still in the car will keep producing the smell no matter what is applied over it.
03 / Dry
All the way through
Fabric and carpet dry through the padding, not just to the touch. Damp material is the single most common reason a smell comes back.
04 / Treat
Then neutralize
The treatment goes through the cabin and destroys what is left at a molecular level. The car goes home smelling like nothing, which is the point.

What people ask before they book.

Will the smell definitely be gone?
If the cause is in the cabin and it can be removed, yes. What we cannot promise is a smell coming from somewhere that is still there — a leak, damp under the carpet or something in a cavity. We look first, and we will tell you which one you have.
Does the car end up smelling of the treatment?
No. There is no fragrance to it. The car should smell of nothing at all, which is what a clean cabin actually smells like.
Can you get cigarette smoke out?
Smoke is the hardest one, because it gets into everything porous — headliner, carpet, padding, seat foam. It usually takes a full interior clean first and then the treatment. Years of it in a car may improve dramatically rather than disappear completely, and we will say so upfront.
What about pet smells?
Those usually come out well, because the source is generally on surfaces that can be cleaned. Anything that has soaked into padding is the harder case and takes longer.
Is it safe on leather and screens?
Yes. It is safe across leather, fabric, vinyl, plastics and carpeting, which covers everything in a modern cabin.
Do I need a full interior detail as well?
Usually, and it is included either way — an odor-neutralizing system is part of The Cabin Geex when the car needs it. For anything severe, this service goes considerably further.
