No. A coating is measured in microns — it will not stop a stone. That is what paint protection film is for. A coating stops chemical etching, UV fade and the slow loss of gloss.
Yes, but far less often and much faster. Dirt does not key into a coated surface the way it does into bare clear coat, and most of it rinses off before you touch the car.
Warranty length and how much correction goes in first. Shield is a light polish and one year. Armor is a single-stage polish and four years. Elite is a two-stage polish, eight years, and adds wheels-off, glass, trim, leather and the engine bay.
