Waterfront, without the beach.
The lagoon system and the lock put most of the community on or near brackish water. That is a different exposure from oceanfront, and it is one people tend to underestimate because the ocean is four miles away.
Salt, without the sea view
Water off the Intracoastal carries salt, and it gets onto cars parked near the lagoons and by the marina. It is less obvious than oceanfront spray, which is exactly the problem: nobody rinses a car that does not look like it has been near the sea, so the salt sits there.
The hitch end takes a beating
A community with a lock is a community with trailers. Reversing a trailer down a ramp puts salt water on the rear bumper, the exhaust tips and the lower rear valance of the tow vehicle — the panels that get washed least often and corrode first.
Reclaimed water leaves deposits
Course irrigation drifts onto cars parked along the fairways, and reclaimed water carries minerals that dry as hard water spots. Left in the sun those etch, and once they have etched they are a polishing job rather than a wash.

Out onto Atlantic Boulevard
West from the main gate. You are heading toward the Kernan and St Johns Bluff junctions rather than the beach.
South on St Johns Bluff Road
Left turn. It is a short run down from Atlantic — a couple of minutes at most outside rush hour.
Building 400, into the bay
The car goes straight inside. For a coated car that matters: nothing dries in the sun between the wash and the handover.

I am not on the ocean. Do I really have a salt problem?
Yes, a smaller one — and it gets treated worse because it is invisible. Brackish water off the Intracoastal carries salt, and a car parked near the lagoons or the marina collects it without ever looking like it has. It is the cars nobody rinses that show it first.
What are the white spots that will not wash off?
Almost certainly hard water etching from irrigation. Reclaimed water leaves mineral deposits, and baked in the sun they etch the clear coat. Once they have etched, washing will not touch them — it is a polishing job.
Can you protect the back of my truck from the boat ramp?
Yes. Film goes on the rear bumper and lower valance as readily as the front, and a wheel coating is worth doing at the same time — salt water and brake dust together are what pit a wheel.
Do you come inside the gate?
No. Film and ceramic coatings cannot be applied properly outside a controlled indoor space, and a driveway install is a compromise we are not willing to sell. Everything happens in the sealed bay, about ten minutes from the main gate.
How long does a full film and coating package take?
Days rather than hours, depending on coverage and whether the paint needs correcting first. We will give you a real timeline from the car before anything is booked, not an optimistic one.
Do you work on boats?
No — this is an automotive studio and everything in it is set up for cars. Ceramic coating a hull is a different trade with different products, and we would rather say so than take the work.
